Im not sure how I feel about Cyanogen trying to take Android from Google.
This is not the first time I heard of the news, and it still seems strange. Everyone knows that Android belongs to Google, as iOS belongs to Apple and Windows Phone belongs to Windows. The difference is that even though Google owns Android, they actually develop it and release it to the general public so that people (more like techies – who are interested in those things) would be able to make some adjustments.
Cyanogen consists of a group of these techies! And now they are willing to and trying to Take Android from Google?! Take the software that made them and try to bypass Google by selling it to other businesses. More like other competitors of Google.
While this may be a good thing for Android in general, where I come from, the elders in the community have a saying; Dont bite the hand that feeds you!
