I had a very inspiring winter vacation that seemed more like work than anything else. I definitely enjoyed it and now time to get back in the flow of blood sweat and tears!

One thing I am very proud of was that together with the Mega D Youth Foundation, we were able to organise the second Youth Entrepreneurship workshop in St. Eustatius.
The workshop was featured in the local newspapers and made local news. We ended on Thursday Jan 8th with a special presentation to invited guest; Commissioner and former Chairman of the St. Eustatius Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Carlyle Tearr and two representatives of the St Eustatius Business Association, including the President, Winston Fleming.

The three specially invited guests were impressed with the workshop and the presentations that the students gave. President  Fleming was very happy to see that all of the students came with their own business ideas which were out of the box and especially some that could actually potentially work in Statia.
Commissioner Tearr gave the students extra tips and challenged them to push forward with their ideas. He also helped the students to see how these business ideas could be the key in helping to generate more /new visitors to the island.

I also featured as a guess on the radio show Go Get It with Ife, a radio program geared towards promoting that entrepreneurs mentality to young and old!

A very motivating and inspiring trip overall! Stay tuned for more pics… and scroll through my Instagram feed for more. In the mean time, if I have some work to do for you, please be patient with me as I am quite moody to be back in the wonderful, freezing, rainy, cold weather. 🙂 (<– sarcasm)
